Weather Policy
After school programs do not operate if schools are closed all day or dismissed early due to incelement weather conditions. Children should plan to ride the school bus home in the event of an early school closing. If hazardous conditions develop after children report to after school care, children should be picked up by a parent or guardian as soon as possible.
If schools have a delayed opening due to hazardous weather, before school programs also will be delayed. For example, if schools are operating on a two-hour delay, before school programs will open two hours later as well.
